Yoncalla Topix/Craigslist replacement » Ben Simmons
Ben Simmons, at 18, was the youngest mayor ever elected in the United States. Possibly the first Gen Z politian in America. So Yoncalla, how did he do? Where is he now?

No, I mean when someone starts a discussion, it's placed on the page with all the other discussion forums. The active ones move to the top and inactive go back to second or third page. Selecting a discussion is similar to selecting a add on Craigslist. That was the way the old topix worked.

Do you mean place’s (cities’) forums? I’m not sure if that would make any sense, because in theory you should be interested only in one or a few particular places... like your current plus maybe your previous where you grew up. It would be quite easy to create such list. Notice that all forums within single city behave exactly like you said. Anyway, if I misunderstood something feel free to clarify it. Thanks for the suggestion!

One thing I really liked about the old topix forum though was the way the subjects scrolled. The most active forums were at the top. And less active forums went to 2nd or 3rd page. This provided easy access to all the forums. And you could see the activity of each forum pretty much.

I always had problems with the old topix forum. It seemed to have a problem with malware adware etc. I hope this new site takes off and does well
